The United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) held its 6th week of the alpine season in the Midwest, Mideast, Southwest, Southeast, Atlantic Highlands, Allegheny, Northwest, Northern California and Eastern Conferences from February 7th to 9th.
2/8 Southwest Conference
The Southwest Conference held a race at Mammoth Mountain in California, with the giant slalom race held on Saturday. The men's giant slalom was won by the University of California Los Angeles overall. Los Angeles’ Cameron Berg took 1st place, followed by San Diego State’s William DeWolfe in 2nd place with a 1.34 second difference. Los Angeles’ Aidan Le Francois placed 4th, and teammate Charlie Gravereaux placed 11th. The Claremont Colleges placed 2nd overall, led by Will Sedo in 5th place. Claremont’s Noah Manning placed 7th, and teammate John Peabody placed 8th.
The University of California San Diego won the women's giant slalom overall. San Diego’s Jordan Flood took 1st place, followed by San Diego State’s Anna Potter in 2nd place with a 1.66 second difference. UC San Diego’s Lancia Carson placed 9th, followed by teammate Chaney Szeto in 10th place. The University of California Los Angeles placed 2nd overall, led by Samantha McKay in 5th place. Teammates Madeline Le Francois placed 6th, and Gemma Hill placed 8th.
Due to weather, the Friday slalom races were canceled.
2/08 - 2/09 Southeast Conference
The Southeast region held its 2nd race of the season at Bryce Resort in Basye, VA. Saturday held both the men’s and women’s dual slalom events. In the men’s category, University of Virginia’s Thomas Johnson took first place, followed by Virginia Tech’s Theodore Hwang in 2nd place. Virginia Tech’s Pierce Hamlin took 3rd place. Virginia Tech took 1st overall in the men’s dual slalom, and University of Virginia placed 2nd. In the women’s category, Duke University’s Madeleine Robinson took 1st place, followed by Georgia Institute of Technology’s Savannah Taylor in 2nd place. University of Georgia’s Neve Martin placed 3rd. Georgetown University took 1st overall in the women’s dual slalom, and Virginia Tech placed 2nd.
Teams competed in a slalom race on Sunday. The men’s slalom event was won by Virginia Tech overall. Virginia Tech’s Theodore Hwang took 1st place, followed by Lees-McRae College’s Hunter Post with a 2.05 second difference. Virginia Tech’s Pierce Hamplin placed 6th, and teammate Jacob Wierer placed 9th. The University of Virginia placed 2nd overall, led by Thomas Johnson in 3rd place. Teammates Tyler Jensen placed 4th, and Jack Allison placed 8th.
The women’s slalom event was won by the University of Virginia overall. Virginia’s Logan Lindstrom took 1st place, followed by Duke’s Madeleine Roberts in 2nd place with a 2.64 second difference. Virginia’s Laura Lee Baldwin placed 7th, followed by teammate Madeline Livingston in 8th place. Virginia Tech placed 2nd overall, led by Charlotte Helson in 10th place. Teammates Ava Howard placed 11th, and Julia Gregory placed 13th.
2/08 - 2/09 Northwest Conference
The Northwest region held a two day slalom race at The Summit of Snoqualmie Ski Resort in Washington.
On Saturday the men's slalom event was won by Montana State University. Montana State’s Jake Farwig placed 3rd. Teammates Erik Carlson placed 6th, and Zackary Niedzwiecki placed 7th. The University of British Columbia placed 2nd overall, led by Nelson Fretenburg in 2nd place behind the University of Washington’s Ford Hodgkins in 1st place with a 0.82 second difference.
British Columbia’s Hirukawa Koh placed 5th, and teammate Phillip D’Andrea placed 13th. The women’s slalom event was won by Montana State University overall. Montana State’s Parker Crawford placed 4th. Teammates Sierra Scanlan placed 5th, and Brenna Ritchie placed 7th. The College of Idaho placed 2nd overall, led by Caitlyn Bumpers in 2nd place behind the University of Oregon’s Sage Sappenfield in 1st place with a 0.26 second difference. College of Idaho’s Taylor Watkins placed 6th, and teammate Hadley Dunlevy placed 15th.
On Sunday, the men's slalom event was also won by Montana State University overall. Montana State’s Jake Farwig placed 4th. Teammates Erik Carlson placed 5th, followed by Zackary Niedzwiecki in 6th place. The College of Idaho placed 2nd overall, led by Carson Paco in 3rd place. Teammates Jiri Vesely placed 8th, and Cade McIntyre placed 22nd.

Montana State’s Brenna Ritchie took 2nd place behind University of Oregon’s Sage Sappenfield in 1st place with a 3.99 second difference. Montana State’s Piper Davis placed 5th, followed by teammate Sage Curtis in 6th. The University of Oregon placed 2nd overall, led by Sage Sappenfield in 1st place. Teammates Jenna Lynch placed 13th, and Shona Flake placed 18th.
2/07 - 2/08 Northern California Conference
The Northern California region held a race at Mammoth Mountain in California. The men's giant slalom event was won by Stanford University. Stanford's Thomas Hatcher took 1st place, followed by teammate William Sayer in 2nd place with a 0.25 second difference. Stanford's Luke Smith placed 4th. The University of California, Davis placed 2nd overall, led by Ethan Hockridge in 3rd place. Teammates Alexandre Chickering placed 5th, and Alex Kunz placed 7th.
The women's giant slalom event was won by the University of California, Davis overall. Davis’ Cassidy Gillis took 1st place, followed by Stanford’s Anna Klein in 2nd place with a 9.07 second difference. Davis’ Shannon McCoy placed 3rd, followed by teammate Margaret Lonergan in 4th place. Stanford University placed 2nd overall, with only Anna Klein’s 2nd place.
Due to weather, the Friday slalom races were canceled.
2/08 - 2/09 Midwest Conference
In the Midwest region, the Lake Superior and Chicago division held a two day giant slalom race at Chestnut Mountain in Galena, IL.
Saturday held both the men’s and women’s first giant slalom event. The men's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison overall. Madison’s Tanner Bence took 1st place, followed by teammate James Briggs in 2nd place with a 0.72 second difference. Madison’s Diego Navarro placed 5th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Andrew Miller in 3rd place. Teammates Hayden Johansen placed 7th, and Riley Gisch placed 11th.
The women's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. Madison’s Tori Bogenschutz took 1st place, followed by teammate Katie Curry in 2nd place with a 29.36 second difference. Madison’s Harper Randolph placed 4th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Casey Kirchschlager in 3rd place. Teammates Katie Kirchschlager placed 6th, and Ellie Nickelson placed 9th.
The men's giant slalom event on Sunday was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. The women's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. Madison’s Katie Curry took 1st place, followed by the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Casey Kirchschlager in 2nd place with a 34.99 second difference. Madison’s Charlise Schulz placed 3rd, and teammate Brooke Miller placed 5th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Casey Kirchschlager in 2nd place. Teammates Katie Kirchschlager placed 4th, and Megan Robertson placed 10th.
The Michigan and Ohio division held a race at Otsego Resort in Gaylord, MI. The men’s slalom event on Saturday was won by Michigan State University. Michigan State’s Aiden Lewandowski took 1st place, followed by teammate Hunter Halstead in 2nd place with a 0.29 second difference. Michigan State’s Teegan McLeod placed 3rd. The University of Michigan placed 2nd overall, led by Anthony Trovato in 7th place. Teammates Will Hallas placed 8th and Maxwell Scott placed 9th. The women’s slalom race was won by the University of Michigan overall. Michigan’s Anna Grzelak took 1st place, followed by teammate Maria Fornetti in 2nd place with a 0.36 second difference. Michigan’s Sydney Schwlam placed 4th. The University of Notre Dame placed 2nd overall, led by Adelaide Kolka in 9th. Teammates Sarah Jones placed 16th, and Macy Hopkinson placed 20th.
On Sunday the men’s giant slalom event was won by Michigan State University. Michigan State’s Hunter Halstead took 1st place, followed by teammate Teegan McLeod in 2nd place with a 0.26 second difference. Michigan State’s Aiden Lewandowski placed 3rd. The University of Michigan placed 2nd overall, led by Benjamin Aulicino in 3rd place. Teammates Maxwell Scott placed 4th, and Ben Taylor placed 7th. The women’s slalom race was won by the University of Michigan overall. Michigan’s Maria Fornetti took 1st place, followed by teammate Ashley Binette in 2nd place with a 0.41 second difference. Michigan’s Lauren Carlson placed 4th. Calvin University placed 2nd overall, led by Annelise Kuiper in 10th place. Teammates Erin Cawley placed 17th, and Olivia Tuit placed 20th.
2/08 - 2/09 Mideast Conference
The Mideast region held a race at West Mountain in Queensbury, NY. Saturday held both the men’s and women’s giant slalom races. The men’s giant slalom event was won by Hobart and William Smith College. Hobart and William Smith’s Will Patton took 1st place, followed by Skidmore College’s Justin Shafritz in 2nd place with a 4.50 second difference. Hobart and William Smith’s Ethan Hine placed 3rd, followed by teammate Jack Ross in 4th place. Cornell University placed 2nd overall, led by Ryan Rupprecht in 5th place. Teammates James Kelly placed 7th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Colgate University overall. Colgate’s Kate Goodrich took 1st place, followed by Hamilton College’s Charley Croft in 2nd place with a 2.61 second difference. Colgate’s Charlotte Morris placed 3rd, and teammate Carissa Dunlap placed 5th. Hamilton College placed 2nd overall, led by Charley Croft in 2nd place. Teammates Dana Schwartz placed 8t,h and Reilly Loughman placed 12th.
The men’s slalom event on Sunday was won by Hobart and William Smith College overall. Hobart and William Smith’s Will Patton took 1st place, followed by teammate Ethan Hine in 2nd place with a 1.12 second difference. Hobart and William Smith’s Jack Ross placed 6th. Cornell University placed 2nd overall, led by Frank Stearns in 3rd place. Teammates Matt Sisca placed 8th and Owen Smith 13th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Colgate University. Colgate’s Kate Goodrich took 1st place, followed by teammate Charlotte Morris in 2nd place with a 1.62 second difference. Colgate’s Kaitlyn Willett placed 8th. Hobart and William Smith College placed 2nd overall, led by Kate Broderick in 5th place. Teammates Lily Winch placed 7th, and Emma McKenna placed 14th.
2/08 - 2/09 Atlantic Highlands Conference
The Atlantic Highlands region held a race at Hunter Mountain in NY with slalom on Saturday and giant slalom on Sunday. The men’s slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Aaron Martin took 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s James Lahram in 1st place with a 1.36 second difference. Lehigh’s Ian Kenyon placed 7th, and Jordan Bell placed 10th. Fairfield University placed 2nd overall, led by Timothy Teguis in 5th place. Teammates Cole Paton placed 9th, and Tj Rubin placed 15th. The women’s slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Francesca Mann placed 3rd. Teammates Alyssa Lundberg 5th and Eliza Hirschley placed 13th. Columbia University placed 2nd overall, led by Sloane Goldberg in 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s Paige Barta in 1st place with a 0.51 second difference. Columbia’s Lisa Engelen placed 11th, and teammate Kea Rutherford placed 14th.
On Sunday the men’s giant slalom event was won by Lehigh University. Lehigh’s Aaron Martin took 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s James Lahram in 1st place with a 0.73 second difference. Lehigh’s Jordan Bell placed 6th, and Ian Kenyon placed 7th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Francesca Mann placed 5th. Teammates Alyssa Lundberg placed 8th, and Eliza Hirschey placed 15th. 2/08 - 2/09 Allegheny Conference
The Allegheny region held a two day slalom race at Timberline Mountain in WV. The Saturday men’s slalom event was won by Messiah University overall. Messiah’s Noah Richert took 1st place, followed by Villanova University's Bradley Bryne in 2nd place with a 3.27 second difference. Messiah’s Dylan Sanford placed 5th, and teammate Johnathan Seeburger placed 13th. Pennsylvania State University placed 2nd overall, led by Alec Crouthamel in 4th place. Teammates Benjamin Sonkin placed 7th, followed by John Scott in 8th place. The women’s slalom event was won by Penn State University overall. Penn State’s Zoe Parizek took 1st place, followed by Messiah University's Faith Richert in 2nd place with a 7.92 second difference. Penn State’s Audra Robinson placed 3rd, and teammate Carolyn Mole placed 5th. Messiah University placed 2nd overall, led by Faith Richert in 1st place. Teammates Isabel Sebelin placed 4th and Anna Lentz placed 18th.
The men’s slalom event on Sunday was won by Pennsylvania State University overall. Pennsylvania State’s Alec Crouthamel took 3rd place. Teammates Blake Baughman placed 4th, and John Scott placed 5th. Carnegie Mellon University placed 2nd overall, led by Gregory Morris in 2nd place behind Messiah Universities Noah Richert in 1st place with a 1.78 second difference. Carnegie Mellon’s Charlie Nutbrown placed 9th, followed by teammate Beck Wagner in 10th. The women’s slalom event was won by Penn State University. Penn State’s Zoe Parizek placed 2nd behind Messiah Universities Faith Richert in 1st place with a 2.60 second difference. Pennsylvania State’s Natalie Malmgren placed 4th, and Audra Robinson placed 5th. Messiah University placed 2nd overall led by Faith Richert in 1st place. Teammates Isabel Sebelin placed 17th, and Anna Lentz placed 18th.
2/08 - 2/09 Eastern Conference
The MacConnell division held a two day slalom race at Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA. The men’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s James Rosenbloom placed 3rd. Teammates Mads Syversen placed 4th, and Connor Roy placed 6th. Castleton University took 2nd overall, led by Aks Stroem-Hansen in 1st place, followed by University of Massachusetts’ Marin Vigneras in 2nd place with a 0.99 second difference. Castleton’s Sondre Andersen placed 5th, and Lucas Pons Morillo placed 16th.
The women’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s Amelie Alkier placed 13th. Teammates Morrison Travis placed 18th, and Camryn Knowlton placed 22nd. Castleton University placed 2nd overall, led by Emilie Stene in 11th place. Teammates Ginevra Trevisan placed 20th, and Karleigh Hollister placed 34th.
The second day of men’s slalom racing was won by Babson College. Babson’s James Rosenbloom placed 3rd. Teammates Connor Roy placed 4th, and Elliot Perretta placed 10th. Clarkson University placed 2nd overall led by Edouard Brochu in 2nd place behind the University of Massachusetts’ Marin Vigneras in 1st place with a 0.12 second difference. Clarkson’s Reed Martin placed 7th, and teammate Jackson Knobloch placed 12th.
The women’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s Morrison Travis placed 12th. Teammates Amelie Alkier placed 13th,h and Alli Messier placed 20th. Castleton University placed 2nd overall, led by Emilie Stene, placed 4th. Teammates Elosegui Rodriguez placed 6t,h and Grace Porcaro placed 26th.
The Reynolds division held a race at Pats Peak Ski Area in Henniker, NH. Saturday held both the men’s and women’s giant slalom races. The men’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Jacob Roy took 1st place, followed by teammate Lake Lindelof in 2nd place with a 1.09 second difference. Farmington’s Sam Roy placed 3rd. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall, led by Jack Price in 4th place. Teammates Caleb Gorton placed 5th and Colin Rathbone placed 7th.
The women’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Elanore Robb tied for 1st place with New England College’s Malin Alusic-Bingham with a 1.21.95 time. Farmington’s Hokulani Caroselli placed 2nd with a 3.49 second difference. Farmington’s Rosie St Cyr placed 6th. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall, led by Kathleen Yeaton in 5th place. Teammates Hannah Golden placed 7th and Meghan Cyr placed 9th.
On Sunday teams participated in a slalom race. The men’s slalom event was won by University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Jacob Roy placed 2nd behind St.Joseph’s College of Maine’s Jack Price in 1st place with a 0.51 second difference. Farmington’s Colgan O’Keefe placed 3rd, and teammate Lance Dolan placed 5th. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall led by Jack Price in 1st place. Teammates Caleb Gorton placed 4th, and Owen Pethic placed 16th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Rosie St Cyr took 1st place, followed by teammate Hokulani Caroselli in 2nd place with a 0.50 second difference. Farmington’s Elanore Robb placed 3rd. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall led by Madelyn Zordan in 4th. Teammates Kathleen Yeaton in 6th place, and Hannah Golden placed 7th.
USCSA is the sports federation for collegiate team ski and snowboard competition in America. The organization believes that student-athletes of all levels and abilities should have access to quality and exciting venues of competition. Our athletes agree that our team orientation fosters a collaborative approach across their collegiate athletic and academic careers, and often this mentality proves indispensable in their adult lives and careers. USCSA includes over 140 institutions from coast to coast, fielding over 4,700 female and male alpine, freestyle, nordic, and snowboarding athletes who participate in more than 300 events annually.

In the Midwest region, the Lake Superior and Chicago division held a two day giant slalom race at Chestnut Mountain in Galena, IL.
Saturday held both the men’s and women’s first giant slalom event. The men's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison overall. Madison’s Tanner Bence took 1st place, followed by teammate James Briggs in 2nd place with a 0.72 second difference. Madison’s Diego Navarro placed 5th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Andrew Miller in 3rd place. Teammates Hayden Johansen placed 7th, and Riley Gisch placed 11th.
The women's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. Madison’s Tori Bogenschutz took 1st place, followed by teammate Katie Curry in 2nd place with a 29.36 second difference. Madison’s Harper Randolph placed 4th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Casey Kirchschlager in 3rd place. Teammates Katie Kirchschlager placed 6th, and Ellie Nickelson placed 9th.
The men's giant slalom event on Sunday was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. Madison’s James Briggs took 1st place, followed by teammate Tanner Bence in 2nd place with a 0.04 second difference. Madison’s William Hennen placed 6th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Andrew Miller in 3rd place. Teammates Hayden Johansen placed 7th, and Aaron Lefkowitz placed 9th. The women's giant slalom event was won by the University of Wisconsin Madison. Madison’s Katie Curry took 1st place, followed by the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Casey Kirchschlager in 2nd place with a 34.99 second difference. Madison’s Charlise Schulz placed 3rd, and teammate Brooke Miller placed 5th. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities took 2nd overall, led by Casey Kirchschlager in 2nd place. Teammates Katie Kirchschlager placed 4th, and Megan Robertson placed 10th.
The Michigan and Ohio division held a race at Otsego Resort in Gaylord, MI. The men’s slalom event on Saturday was won by Michigan State University. Michigan State’s Aiden Lewandowski took 1st place, followed by teammate Hunter Halstead in 2nd place with a 0.29 second difference. Michigan State’s Teegan McLeod placed 3rd. The University of Michigan placed 2nd overall, led by Anthony Trovato in 7th place. Teammates Will Hallas placed 8th and Maxwell Scott placed 9th. The women’s slalom race was won by the University of Michigan overall. Michigan’s Anna Grzelak took 1st place, followed by teammate Maria Fornetti in 2nd place with a 0.36 second difference. Michigan’s Sydney Schwlam placed 4th. The University of Notre Dame placed 2nd overall, led by Adelaide Kolka in 9th. Teammates Sarah Jones placed 16th, and Macy Hopkinson placed 20th.
On Sunday the men’s giant slalom event was won by Michigan State University. Michigan State’s Hunter Halstead took 1st place, followed by teammate Teegan McLeod in 2nd place with a 0.26 second difference. Michigan State’s Aiden Lewandowski placed 3rd. The University of Michigan placed 2nd overall, led by Benjamin Aulicino in 3rd place. Teammates Maxwell Scott placed 4th, and Ben Taylor placed 7th. The women’s slalom race was won by the University of Michigan overall. Michigan’s Maria Fornetti took 1st place, followed by teammate Ashley Binette in 2nd place with a 0.41 second difference. Michigan’s Lauren Carlson placed 4th. Calvin University placed 2nd overall, led by Annelise Kuiper in 10th place. Teammates Erin Cawley placed 17th, and Olivia Tuit placed 20th.
2/08 - 2/09 Mideast Conference
The Mideast region held a race at West Mountain in Queensbury, NY. Saturday held both the men’s and women’s giant slalom races. The men’s giant slalom event was won by Hobart and William Smith College. Hobart and William Smith’s Will Patton took 1st place, followed by Skidmore College’s Justin Shafritz in 2nd place with a 4.50 second difference. Hobart and William Smith’s Ethan Hine placed 3rd, followed by teammate Jack Ross in 4th place. Cornell University placed 2nd overall, led by Ryan Rupprecht in 5th place. Teammates James Kelly placed 7th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Colgate University overall. Colgate’s Kate Goodrich took 1st place, followed by Hamilton College’s Charley Croft in 2nd place with a 2.61 second difference. Colgate’s Charlotte Morris placed 3rd, and teammate Carissa Dunlap placed 5th. Hamilton College placed 2nd overall, led by Charley Croft in 2nd place. Teammates Dana Schwartz placed 8t,h and Reilly Loughman placed 12th.
The men’s slalom event on Sunday was won by Hobart and William Smith College overall. Hobart and William Smith’s Will Patton took 1st place, followed by teammate Ethan Hine in 2nd place with a 1.12 second difference. Hobart and William Smith’s Jack Ross placed 6th. Cornell University placed 2nd overall, led by Frank Stearns in 3rd place. Teammates Matt Sisca placed 8th and Owen Smith 13th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Colgate University. Colgate’s Kate Goodrich took 1st place, followed by teammate Charlotte Morris in 2nd place with a 1.62 second difference. Colgate’s Kaitlyn Willett placed 8th. Hobart and William Smith College placed 2nd overall, led by Kate Broderick in 5th place. Teammates Lily Winch placed 7th, and Emma McKenna placed 14th.
2/08 - 2/09 Atlantic Highlands Conference
The Atlantic Highlands region held a race at Hunter Mountain in NY with slalom on Saturday and giant slalom on Sunday. The men’s slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Aaron Martin took 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s James Lahram in 1st place with a 1.36 second difference. Lehigh’s Ian Kenyon placed 7th, and Jordan Bell placed 10th. Fairfield University placed 2nd overall, led by Timothy Teguis in 5th place. Teammates Cole Paton placed 9th, and Tj Rubin placed 15th. The women’s slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Francesca Mann placed 3rd. Teammates Alyssa Lundberg 5th and Eliza Hirschley placed 13th. Columbia University placed 2nd overall, led by Sloane Goldberg in 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s Paige Barta in 1st place with a 0.51 second difference. Columbia’s Lisa Engelen placed 11th, and teammate Kea Rutherford placed 14th.
On Sunday the men’s giant slalom event was won by Lehigh University. Lehigh’s Aaron Martin took 2nd place behind the United States Military Academy’s James Lahram in 1st place with a 0.73 second difference. Lehigh’s Jordan Bell placed 6th, and Ian Kenyon placed 7th. The United States Military Academy placed 2nd overall, led by James Lahrman in 1st place. Teammates Callum Donovan placed 10th, and Ryan Oberweis-Manion placed 14th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by Lehigh University overall. Lehigh’s Francesca Mann placed 5th. Teammates Alyssa Lundberg placed 8th, and Eliza Hirschey placed 15th. Fairfield University placed 2nd overall, led by Sarah Whitaker in 7th place. Teammates Katelyn Paliwoda placed 10th,h and Keara Medeiros placed 11th. The United States Military Academy’s Paige Barta took 1st place, followed by Columbia University’s Sloane Goldberg with a 1.02 second difference.
2/08 - 2/09 Allegheny Conference
The Allegheny region held a two day slalom race at Timberline Mountain in WV. The Saturday men’s slalom event was won by Messiah University overall. Messiah’s Noah Richert took 1st place, followed by Villanova University's Bradley Bryne in 2nd place with a 3.27 second difference. Messiah’s Dylan Sanford placed 5th, and teammate Johnathan Seeburger placed 13th. Pennsylvania State University placed 2nd overall, led by Alec Crouthamel in 4th place. Teammates Benjamin Sonkin placed 7th, followed by John Scott in 8th place. The women’s slalom event was won by Penn State University overall. Penn State’s Zoe Parizek took 1st place, followed by Messiah University's Faith Richert in 2nd place with a 7.92 second difference. Penn State’s Audra Robinson placed 3rd, and teammate Carolyn Mole placed 5th. Messiah University placed 2nd overall, led by Faith Richert in 1st place. Teammates Isabel Sebelin placed 4th and Anna Lentz placed 18th.
The men’s slalom event on Sunday was won by Pennsylvania State University overall. Pennsylvania State’s Alec Crouthamel took 3rd place. Teammates Blake Baughman placed 4th, and John Scott placed 5th. Carnegie Mellon University placed 2nd overall, led by Gregory Morris in 2nd place behind Messiah Universities Noah Richert in 1st place with a 1.78 second difference. Carnegie Mellon’s Charlie Nutbrown placed 9th, followed by teammate Beck Wagner in 10th. The women’s slalom event was won by Penn State University. Penn State’s Zoe Parizek placed 2nd behind Messiah Universities Faith Richert in 1st place with a 2.60 second difference. Pennsylvania State’s Natalie Malmgren placed 4th, and Audra Robinson placed 5th. Messiah University placed 2nd overall led by Faith Richert in 1st place. Teammates Isabel Sebelin placed 17th, and Anna Lentz placed 18th.
2/08 - 2/09 Eastern Conference
The MacConnell division held a two day slalom race at Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA. The men’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s James Rosenbloom placed 3rd. Teammates Mads Syversen placed 4th, and Connor Roy placed 6th. Castleton University took 2nd overall, led by Aks Stroem-Hansen in 1st place, followed by University of Massachusetts’ Marin Vigneras in 2nd place with a 0.99 second difference. Castleton’s Sondre Andersen placed 5th, and Lucas Pons Morillo placed 16th.
The women’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s Amelie Alkier placed 13th. Teammates Morrison Travis placed 18th, and Camryn Knowlton placed 22nd. Castleton University placed 2nd overall, led by Emilie Stene in 11th place. Teammates Ginevra Trevisan placed 20th, and Karleigh Hollister placed 34th.
The second day of men’s slalom racing was won by Babson College. Babson’s James Rosenbloom placed 3rd. Teammates Connor Roy placed 4th, and Elliot Perretta placed 10th. Clarkson University placed 2nd overall led by Edouard Brochu in 2nd place behind the University of Massachusetts’ Marin Vigneras in 1st place with a 0.12 second difference. Clarkson’s Reed Martin placed 7th, and teammate Jackson Knobloch placed 12th.
The women’s slalom event was won by Babson College. Babson’s Morrison Travis placed 12th. Teammates Amelie Alkier placed 13th,h and Alli Messier placed 20th. Castleton University placed 2nd overall, led by Emilie Stene, placed 4th. Teammates Elosegui Rodriguez placed 6t,h and Grace Porcaro placed 26th.
The Reynolds division held a race at Pats Peak Ski Area in Henniker, NH. Saturday held both the men’s and women’s giant slalom races. The men’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Jacob Roy took 1st place, followed by teammate Lake Lindelof in 2nd place with a 1.09 second difference. Farmington’s Sam Roy placed 3rd. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall, led by Jack Price in 4th place. Teammates Caleb Gorton placed 5th and Colin Rathbone placed 7th.
The women’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Elanore Robb tied for 1st place with New England College’s Malin Alusic-Bingham with a 1.21.95 time. Farmington’s Hokulani Caroselli placed 2nd with a 3.49 second difference. Farmington’s Rosie St Cyr placed 6th. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall, led by Kathleen Yeaton in 5th place. Teammates Hannah Golden placed 7th and Meghan Cyr placed 9th.
On Sunday teams participated in a slalom race. The men’s slalom event was won by University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Jacob Roy placed 2nd behind St.Joseph’s College of Maine’s Jack Price in 1st place with a 0.51 second difference. Farmington’s Colgan O’Keefe placed 3rd, and teammate Lance Dolan placed 5th. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall led by Jack Price in 1st place. Teammates Caleb Gorton placed 4th, and Owen Pethic placed 16th. The women’s giant slalom event was won by the University of Maine at Farmington overall. Farmington’s Rosie St Cyr took 1st place, followed by teammate Hokulani Caroselli in 2nd place with a 0.50 second difference. Farmington’s Elanore Robb placed 3rd. St.Joseph’s College of Maine placed 2nd overall led by Madelyn Zordan in 4th. Teammates Kathleen Yeaton in 6th place, and Hannah Golden placed 7th.
