Step 1: Pre Registration

​Athletes

Contact your Conference Coordinator regarding your eligibility BEFORE you register for Nationals​. 
​
All competing athletes and teams must be in good standing with the USCSA.
​
​All TEAMS must be registered with the USCSA to compete at Nationals. ​NOTE: if anyone on your team is adding on "cross" as a supplemental discipline at Nationals, you must have a freeski team registered.

​Coaches

All coaches must be registered as a coach / official / volunteer with the USCSA BEFORE arriving in at Mt. Bachelor.

Registration records will be cross-referenced between Nationals and the National Office.

LIST OF REGISTERED ATHLETES

Athletes

All qualified athletes must register online before arriving at Mt. Bachelor. Registration is through your SportsEngine account.

Athletes who elect a skier-cross add-on MUST be registered (through your in-season registration) with freeski as a secondary discipline.
​

Athletes who elect a Nordic add-on MUST be registered (through your in-season registration) with Nordic as a secondary discipline.

​Coaches

Every team is defined as having three athletes or more.

Each team is allotted one coach per team at no charge. Additional coaches may be registered for an extra fee.
​

​All coaches must complete both registrations (in-season and Nationals) and all associated eligibility components before arriving on venue.​​

**The registration deadline for athletes and coaches is 8pm EST on Friday, March 7.
Any registrations after this time may be subject to an additional fee.**

Step 3: Fees, Tickets & How to Pay

All fees must be paid in order to participate. Fees only apply to athletes and additional coaches beyond the one allotted coach per team. ​There are no team fees. See the full fee breakdown below.

*For athletes who pay onsite, all unpaid team members must pay with ONE transaction at onsite check-in (e.g. one check or one credit card per team)
​*Be sure to include the $25 fee per person in your check total

Training Tickets
Alpine/Snowboard/Freeski/Nordic
Training tickets are available for athlete use on Sunday, March 9 and Monday, March 10.
  • Alpine/Snowboard/Freeski: $65/day
  • Nordic: $22/day
Your competition credential includes tickets for competition days only: Tuesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 15 for alpine, snowboard and freeski; March 11, 12, 14 and 15 for Nordic. Training days are included in all coach credentials.

Training tickets must be purchased online in advance. ​Instructions will be included in the email you receive from Mt. Bachelor to set up your credential; at that time, you will have the option to purchase and add training tickets to your credential. (More information in Step 6 below.)

Ikon Pass Holders:
Student athletes who are Ikon Pass holders may use their Ikon Pass for training days, but the event fee is all inclusive and the same fee will apply to all competitors. 

​There are several benefits that Ikon Pass holders can enjoy while at Mt. Bachelor:

Step 4: Post Registration

  1. Event Form: One person from each team must complete this form by March 7 
  2. Team Registration Form: Fill out one form per team by March 7 
  3. Team Media Form (optional):  For your local school media; one form total per institution​​

Step 5: Attend an Informational Session

All registered athletes and coaches are invited to attend a virtual information session about the event, where everyone can have the opportunity to ask questions from USCSA leadership.

​Call-in information also will be provided via email to all registered athletes and coaches before each call.

Step 6: Check-In On-site & Obtain Credentials

You must be registered by then, and at least one representative from your school must have come to check-in by then to pick up all credentials.

Even if you have already registered online, at least one representative per school must come to check-in.
If your team is not able to visit check-in, please have another team check in for you.
Lift Tickets
Mt. Bachelor will email a voucher directly to each athlete and coach who is registered for Nationals through the USCSA:
  • Alpine, snowboard and freeski athletes will receive a voucher for lift access for Tuesday through Saturday, plus the option to purchase one or two days of training for Sunday and Monday at a discounted rate (see Step 3 for more information about training tickets)
  • ​Nordic athletes will receive a voucher for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, plus the option to purchase one, two or three days of training for Sunday, Monday and Thursday at a discounted rate (see Step 3 for for more information about training tickets)
  • Coaches will receive a voucher for Sunday through Saturday

Instructions will be included in your email from Mt. Bachelor about how to set up your profile with Mt. Bachelor, redeem your voucher and purchase optional training days. Each athlete and coach will need to print out an RFID card for the week at kiosks stationed around West Village at Mt. Bachelor.

Step 7: Training Info

Alpine Training Gates: On-Site Rentals
The College of Idaho Ski Team will be renting two 40 training gate setups, including appropriate size drill bits. GS panels not included. Cost: $500/setup for the entirety of the designated training blocks (Monday, March 10 through Thursday, March 13). Payable by check, cash, or Venmo to The College of Idaho Ski Team. Contact Aaron Flynn, The College of Idaho Head Coach, at or before check-in to arrange for delivery and use: (208) 949-8633 or [email protected].

Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF) also rent out GS training gates with panels. Information will be available on-site upon arrival at check-in.

Discounted training tickets are available for all disciplines for Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11. Additionally, training tickets are available for Nordic for Thursday, March 13.

Lodging & Travel

Check out Mt. Bachelor's Getting Here webpage to learn about your options for driving to Bend or flying into the Redmond Airport (RDM).

Check-in and all awards ceremonies, including Daily Awards and Final Awards, will take place at the Riverhouse Lodge. Riverhouse Lodge is located directly on the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon and offers a range of accommodations. The lodge features extensive conference and event spaces, including a 36,000-square-foot convention center and multiple meeting rooms. Check out their March newsletter here.
