National Office Coordinator

Background
The United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) is the national governing body for collegiate team ski racing and snowboarding in America. The organization offers alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski jumping, freeskiing and snowboarding. The USCSA consists of more than 175 colleges from coast to coast fielding some 5,000 men and women alpine, Nordic, freeski and snowboard athletes in over 200 events annually.

National Office Coordinator’s Purpose 
This role will support the Managing Director and National Office with a primary focus on fall registration and Nationals registration. Additional duties will involve providing general administrative and operational support throughout the organization’s busy season in the fall and winter. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
National Office registration 

• Support the Managing Director in managing the fall registration process (September - January)
• Be familiar with and be able to navigate through SportsEngine and pull reports 
• Manage the processing of eligibility paperwork
• Provide customer service support and problem solve for all member inquiries through Zendesk

Nationals registration 

• Manage the registration process for the US Collegiate Ski & Snowboard National Championships (January - March)
• Be familiar with the registration process and be able to answer FAQs from members
• Provide customer service support for all member inquiries through Zendesk
• Manage the Nationals webpages and other informational materials related to registration and pricing

Marketing and communications

• Work with the managing director and third-party marketing consultant to keep all website content up to date related to registration
• Provide support for internal and external messaging platforms

Administrative Support

• As time and bandwidth permit, support the waiver process and Academic Affairs Committee
• Maintain organization within USCSA’s corporate Google Drive
• Help with document organization and formatting as requested from Committee Chairs

Skills and Qualifications

• Passion for the mission of the USCSA
• Experience working in an administrative support setting and managing various platforms and applications
• Zendesk experience preferred, but not required
• SportsEngine experience preferred, but not required
• Strong time management skills and proven ability to wear multiple hats
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and analytical skills
• Ability to self-motive and work independently

Fees and Terms 
This is a part-time seasonal independent contractor role. The timeframe is mid-September through mid-March. The time commitment will be about 15-20 hours a week during that time. The offered hourly rate is within the range of $25-$30 an hour.
