The 2019 USCSA Summer Conference will include various seminars, breakout sessions and keynote addresses to educate attendees and fostering growth in our organization. This event is open to all athletes, coaches and stakeholders but registration is mandatory. The preferred lodging partner is Hotel Park City, but there are other, affordable accommodations to ease travel costs.

National office in review; future roles address
Room: Aspen Room | Presentation Session Leader(s): Alec Tandara-Kuhns Description: Executive Director Alec Tandara-Kuhns reviews his first season with USCSA and presents information on National Office metrics and undertakings. Further topics to be covered include current initiatives, expectations of the Executive Director moving forward, and excitement about the future of the USCSA. Basecamp platform & usage
Room: Aspen Room | Presentation Session Leader(s): Alec Tandara-Kuhns Description: Short presentation of the USCSA Basecamp project management platform and the various uses. Will discuss the impact of the platform with the 2019 National Championships and how it is currently set up for committees and working groups to communicate offline, on their own time. Breakout 1A: Year in Review
Room: Board Room | Closed Session Session Leader(s): Bo Bigelow Description: This session is specifically for the Conference & Division Coordinators of the USCSA to reconnect and discuss their season together. CC's will go through the highs and lows of the 18/19 season and collaborate on what worked and what didn't with a focus on improving for next year. Breakout 1B: Sport Development
The VP's of each sport will get together as experts in their discipline to discuss development opportunities. This is a 10,000ft view planning session to field questions from the group and talk about the state of each discipline within the USCSA and how to grow each sport nationwide. Room: Aspen Room | Presentation; Q&A Session Leader(s): Paul Van Slyke Description: Paul Van Slyke on behalf of the Kelly Brush Foundation/U.S. Ski & Snowboard will share an evolutionary view of Alpine Sport Safety in training and competition, homologation information and safety plan review for organizers and officials.
