Regular season tier 1 pricing goes into effect December 1. Institution fee: $175 (remains constant all season) Team fee: $200 (increases to $225 on December 1) Competitor fee: $30 (increases to $35 on December 1) Also starting December 1, only online payments will be accepted. Contact [email protected] with any registration-related questions.   INSTITUTION & TEAM REGISTRATION COMPETITOR REGISTRATION COACH / OFFICIAL / VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE: UPDATES   The National Ski Areas Association first developed the Skier Responsibility Code in 1962. In the last 60 years, the Code has undergone several revisions to stay in step with modern language and skiing behavior. The 2022 version of Your Responsibility Code has grown from seven points to 10: the pre-existing seven points were revised, sometimes minimally, to modernize the language; one previous point was split into two, and two new points were added (one, to emphasize the importance of not skiing or riding under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and another to let skiers and riders know what to do when you get into a collision or other on-mountain incident). VOLUNTEER INFO SESSION RESCHEDULED TO DECEMBER 14 Join us on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern for our fall 2022 informational session for USCSA volunteers. We will go over the many opportunities available to you to become a USCSA volunteer: local Conference events, national committees, Student Reps, Conference Coordinator roles, National Championships and officiating. We also will talk about how the organization operates as a whole, as well as our new strategic plan. All Board members, Committee chairs, elected VPs and Conference Coordinators are invited, along with any member, parent or partner interested in learning more about how to volunteer. Please feel free to share this meeting information with others who may want to join! Registration information is below. VOLUNTEER INFO SESSION REGISTRATION U.S. COLLEGIATE SKI & SNOWBOARD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS The 2023 USCSA National Championships will take place at Mammoth Lakes, California from March 6 to 11, 2023. Alpine, snowboard and freeski events will be at Mammoth Mountain, and Nordic events will be headquartered at Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION COMMITTEE In order for USCSA to carry out its mission and achieve its vision, we must recognize, acknowledge and address any and all barriers to inclusion and participation. Conversation and action are what create change, and USCSA has committed to the first step by creating a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (DEIC). To promote a future of access, diversity, and inclusion in our sport, we are asking our community to join us and apply to be a member of this Committee and help us create an equitable and inclusive environment for all. Committee membership is open to student athletes, volunteers, coaches, parents and any other individual who wants to contribute to this conversation within the USCSA. We are seeking individuals from across our membership and communities who have experience in areas including, but not limited to, antiracism, ability, class, gender and/or sexuality anti-discrimination. This group will develop and guide policies and procedures for the USCSA for years to come. Please fill out this application form if you are interested in participating in this committee.
