Alpine
University of Pennsylvania School: University of Pennsylvania
Major: Materials Science & Engineering # of years I've skied: 12 Favorite athlete: Aly Raisman (she's from my hometown!!) Favorite part of my ski/snowboard team: Definitely the community. Everyone comes from such different backgrounds, but we're all united through our love of skiing. I've met some of my closest friends from the team and have had some of the best times of my life on race weekends, mixers with other college ski teams, and our yearly trip to Canada! What I hope to work on as a Student Rep: As a rep, I hope to work on our outreach to continue making ski racing a more accessible sport! |

Nordic
Treasurer, Cornell Nordic School: Cornell University
Major: Civil Engineering # of years I've skied: 13 Favorite athlete: Rajon Rondo Favorite part of my ski team: The sense of community is really, really nice. Going to a race weekend, having a bunch of your close friends cheer for you, and hanging out as a team is a really fun experience, and I look forward to two more years of it. What I hope to work on as a Student Rep: Building resources which reinforce club infrastructures to increase member retention / ease the burden of logistics. |

Nordic
Co-President, Nordic team at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Nordic Student Coordinator, MCSA President, Midwest Nordic Assembly School: University of Minnesota Twin Cities
Major: Biochemistry, Pre-Dental track # of years I've skied: 9 Favorite athlete(s): Jessie Diggins and Kaisa Bosek Favorite part of my ski team: The team training trip we do on the American Birkebeiner trails before Spring semester starts. The most valuable thing about being a Student Rep: Meeting and making connections across the United States with different skiers. I didn't expect to get to know so many people, but I've definitely learned how not to underestimate the necessity of collaboration. My favorite project I've worked on: Creating an index of all Nordic teams in the USCSA and broadcasting that guide to high school coaches, parents, and skiers across the country. I got to learn a ton about different programs at schools and get in touch with many prospective skiers. Advice for new USCSA athletes: To get to know everyone! Get to know your own teammates as well as skiers from other schools. Knowing a bunch of people at races has made participating in the USCSA one of the best parts of my undergraduate career. |

Snowboard/Freeski
Secretary, Lafayette Ski and Board Team School: Lafayette College
Double Major: Government/Law and Anthropology/Sociology # of years I've snowboarded: 17 Favorite athlete: Chloe Kim Favorite part of my ski team: Even when ski season is over, we continue to hangout a team and grow closer to one another. The most valuable thing about being a Student Rep: This unique experience has helped me stand out in various job applications. This position has taken skiing from being a sport and hobby, to a life and career building opportunity. Advice for new USCSA athletes: Get to know the other teams in your conference! You will be spending every weekend with them, and it’s such an amazing opportunity to meet new people and learn new things. One of my favorite things about my conference has been building relationships with people on other teams, USCSA is about cheering everyone on. There is no better feeling than being watching those you see every weekend succeed, and hearing them cheer for you when you do too. |

Snowboard/Freeski
James Madison University School: James Madison University
Major: Marketing, College of Business # of years I've snowboarded: 12 Favorite athlete: Maddie Mastro Favorite part of my team: How quickly the team feels like family and how we support each other on and off the mountain. What I hope to work on as a Student Rep: I hope to inspire new athletes to work toward their highest potential and encourage them to form relationships within the USCSA atmosphere. I believe the best way to grow your skill set is by learning from the people around you. |
