Institution and Team Registration

Definitions:

  • Institution = a college or university that fields a team

  • Team = gender and discipline specific (e.g. women's alpine ski, men's freestyle snowboard)

  • Small Team = gender and discipline specific, with fewer than three members

Registration process in SportsEngine:

  • Complete the institution registration (one fee per institution)

  • Complete the necessary team registration(s) for every team

  • If your institution is not listed in SportsEngine, please contact the USCSA National Office

Necessary Information:

  • Team contact information

  • Institution media contact information

Reminders about snowboard teams:

  • All snowboard teams with alpine and freestyle athletes MUST register their snowboard alpine and snowboard freestyle teams separately. For the 2024-2025 season, the additional team fee was waived; in this 2025-2026 season, the additional team fee will be at 50%; and in year three, the full team fee will apply.

  • This new process allows institutions to field separate teams, which many groups have requested, and will bring additional consistency between the disciplines of skiing and snowboarding in the USCSA.
