Guest Athlete
Registration
New This Year
For the 2026–2027 season, the Guest Athlete category has been created for eligible higher education students whose institution does not have an established USCSA team in the applicable discipline.
Guest Athletes participate solely as unaffiliated, non-scoring individuals in approved regular-season USCSA events. Guest Athletes are not eligible for team or individual scoring, postseason qualification, or participation in the USCSA National Championships.
The Guest Athlete category is intended to expand access to USCSA while preserving the traditional team membership structure.
This policy expires at the conclusion of the 2026–2027 membership year unless affirmatively renewed or replaced by the USCSA Board of Directors.
Guest Athlete Registration
This new registration will open later this fall. If you are a competitor who falls under this category, do not fill out the student-athlete registration.

New Teams: New teams are eligible for registration fee discounts and should contact the National Office.
-
Institution Fees: Institutions that have registered any teams of three or more members in previous seasons must pay institution fees.

Dates/times for price increases are based on midnight Central Standard Time.
-
Institution and team fees must either be paid online at time of registration, or an offline payment can be requested (to pay by check or to receive an invoice).

If paying offline by check, teams must register first, and then complete the Team Offline Payment Request Form separately. Offline check payments incur an additional $50 processing fee per check, which must be included with submission.
-
Starting December 1, ONLY online payments will be accepted.
-
Institutions that ONLY register small teams (teams with fewer than three members) are only required to pay their small team fee(s), not an institution fee. Please contact the USCSA National Office for a discount code to waive the institution fee.
