Keystone Award History
Awarded to an individual that has been instrumental at the highest level assisting the USCSA President during the past season executing the mission of the organization. This individual has proven to be indispensable to the USCSA President. Their role has gone beyond that of a volunteer. They have chosen to work, often in the background, to assist the President executing their duties. Their efforts have ensured delivery of the best service possible to the organization and membership. Without the contributions of this person, the very success USCSA enjoys would be in jeopardy.
Coach of the Year Award History
An individual, who during the past season has exemplified the qualities of a great coach in every sense of the position. This coach commanded the respect of other coaches and athletes alike, both on and off the hill. Their influence on the sport extended beyond team, division, or boundaries. The recipient of this award has contributed to the strengthening of the sport through increasing participation, respect and public awareness. The coach, to whom this honor is bestowed, represents the fundamental canons of USCSA collegiate skiing in every sense.
Volunteer of the Year Award History
Presented to a USCSA volunteer that has gone above and beyond others to enhance the USCSA experience for athletes and events. The very existence of the organization depends deeply on the efforts of thousands of volunteers working to deliver the USCSA experience. This award is presented, in recognition of one, that has given more of themselves to the USCSA than all others.
Conference Coordinator of the Year Award History
Awarded in recognition of exemplary service to the organization by a Conference Coordinator, demonstrated by a commitment to deliver the highest quality events, a continual pursuit of membership and organization growth, and successful delivery of the USCSA mission at the local level.
USCSA Holger Petersen Volunteer Award History
The Holger Petersen Volunteer Award will be presented at the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard National Championships and announced at the Regional events and at the season ending conference events. Criteria: Recipient must have served on the Board of Directors or as a voting member of USCSA for a minimum of six years and have made a significant contribution to the Board of Directors, with a positive effect. Past recipients are not eligible for the award. Only the Nominations & Awards Committee may makes nominations for this award. The recipient must receive a minimum of 50% of the Board of Director votes to receive the award.
Legacy of Service Award History
This award is in recognition of the recipient’s unwavering dedication, tireless service and profound impact on our organization and community. This award is presented posthumously in honor of the recipient’s selfless commitment to USCSA. Their legacy of compassion, generosity and leadership will forever inspire and guide us.
