September 17th 2019 - The U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) is excited to announce the opening of individual and team registration for the 2019/2020 season and several new and exciting partnerships.

Athletes, volunteers, and teams can now register with USCSA for the 2019/2020 season. Becoming a member of USCSA will open up access to ski and snowboard competitions across the United States within our 11 conferences, as well as the ability to qualify for our Collegiate Regional and National Championships. USCSA members will also have access to equipment discounts from our many partners, representing brands in all disciplines. To register, visit https://www.uscsa.com and click on Registration.

Previous USCSA partners Patagonia, Reliable Racing, ExpertVoice, Avalanche Skiwear, MiiR, HEAD Skis, SYNC Performance all return this year, providing some of their best discounts to our member athletes and volunteers. “We appreciate the exposure from the USCSA college demographic and high level performance that USCSA instills in their member athletes and coaches. USCSA is also excited to announce the addition of several exciting new partners, including SHRED, Swix Sports, and SnoFolio. Mark Cook, Founder and CEO of SnoFolio said that the company, “salutes the USCSA in their efforts of building accessible competitive opportunities for Snowsports athletes that otherwise would not have a venue to compete, and we look forward to supporting USCSA teams and athletes next season.”

"Through the summer we've worked to update our website and improve communication channels with athletes and organizers,” said USCSA Executive Director Alec Tandara-Kuhns. “We are excited for the upcoming competition season and connecting with our members on a greater level.”

The 2019/2020 competition season will culminate with the 42nd annual USCSA Collegiate National Championships in Lake Placid March 8th-14th. Athletes who have qualified through USCSA’s six Regional Championships will compete in Snowboard, Nordic, Freeski, and Alpine events on the same venues used for the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics.

The USCSA is the sports federation for collegiate team ski racing and snowboarding in America. The USCSA believes that student-athletes of all levels and abilities should have access to quality and exciting venues of competition. USCSA athletes agree that our team orientation fosters a collaborative approach across their collegiate athletic and academic careers, and often this mentality proves indispensable in their adult lives and careers. The organization includes 170 colleges from coast to coast, fielding 5,000 male and female, alpine, freestyle, cross-country, snowboarding and nordic ski jumping athletes in over 300 events annually.
