Opening Ceremonies

**Athletes to line up at the Athlete Entrance @ 5:30pm**
Dress warm and bring your school flag!
Athletes and coaches are invited to enjoy dinner, games and a DJ. Skating available at the USA Rink from 6:30pm to 9pm. (Make sure you know your shoe size!)
Roamers Café & Bar will be open and offering a limited menu for parents and spectators.

Daily Awards Ceremonies

Driving Time
The Olympic Center and downtown Lake Placid is 10 miles from Whiteface Mountain, or about 15 minutes. Downtown Lake Placid is 7 miles from Mt. Van Hoevenberg, or about 12 minutes.
Parking Info
Parking is free at both Whiteface Mountain and Mt. Van Hoevenberg. **NOTE: trailers parked at Mt. Van Hoevenberg will be charged a $50 weekly fee for power hook-ups.**

Spectators & Family
Spectator Viewing Areas
Alpine, Snowboard and Freeski: Spectators can walk to the finish corrals, take the chairlift on foot, or ride the chairlift with skis/snowboard.
Nordic: Nordic events are accessible by foot off the Mt. Van Hoevenberg lot or the lodge.
Spectator Tickets (Tuesday - Saturday)
Whiteface - Alpine, Snowboard and Freeski: Spectators who wish to ski/snowboard and observe events beyond the finish corrals, or who wish to take the lift on foot to the alpine ski finish corral, can purchase discounted lift tickets at the Whiteface ticket window.

Lift to alpine ski finish: $25
Mt. Van Hoevenberg - Nordic: There is no cost for spectating at Nordic events.
Volunteer Opportunities
Come help support the crew and pick up a volunteer shift during the week of Nationals! Whiteface volunteers are managed by NYSEF and are needed in the following areas:

bib collectors
Whiteface volunteers receive a day ticket for their volunteer day, plus an extra lift voucher and snacks, lunch, coffee and front row seats to the action!). Learn more here.
Volunteers are also needed for the Nordic events at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Sign-ups for both volunteer options are below.
